FAQs of Cozumel Diving
Where are you located?
Our Cozumel dive boat “Cha-Kay” is located at Marina Fonatur. Our morning boat leaves the Marina at 9am and you will need to arrive by 8:45am to board. Afternoon boats leave at 2:00 pm.
Can non-divers ride on the boat?
As long as the boat is not full they are welcome to join and snorkel in Cozumel for $65. Snorkel gear is provided as well as all other amenities on the boat. A boat rider without snorkeling is $50.
How much should I tip the Captain and crew?
The average tip is $12-15 USD per tank. If you do a 2-tank dive the appropriate tip would be approximat ely $30 USD and the crew will appreciate this very much.
What hotels and piers do you pick up at?
We can pick up at all the hotels and piers within the Marine park south of the Marina. Some hotels may charge you a pier fee, please check with your hotel front desk.
How long are your dives?
At Blue Note Scuba we allow you to dive until your air is 700psi, low NDL or weather permitting. We want you to enjoy your dives as much as we do. Let’s Go Dive Cozumel!
How do I pay my balance while in Cozumel?
You can pay your balance in USD cash or pesos at the end of each dive day. You can also pay with PayPal or Venmo with a 5% fee.
